Glyn y Weddw Arms in Llanbedrog, Pwllheli offers customers a warm and friendly welcome where nothing is too much trouble. It is also one of the only pubs in the area that is open 7 days a week not only for drinks but also for food. You will find that most pubs and even restaurants in the area do not offer or even open for food on Sunday evening, Mondays, Tuesday, or even Wednesdays (except in July and August), but not the Glyn y Weddw, which recognises that you may want to eat in somewhere nice and friendly and also treasures your custom throughout the year. So if you are after a relaxing atmosphere where customers can enjoy scrumptious meals all week long or simply to pop in for a drink the this is THE PLACE.
Owned by Robinson's Brewery, the pub’s tenant is Martin Cook, who has successfully rejuvenated the Glyn y Weddw Arms during the past eleven years. Using his vast experience, Martin and his team has worked tirelessly to ensure the pub fulfil its potential.
The decor is inviting and offers an 'olde worlde' feel, where customers can relax, safe in the knowledge that whatever they require the team will cater for their needs.
An experienced Chef Gary Williams provides an eclectic mix of culinary delights using his knowledge and expertise to create a menu to tantalise your taste buds.
The manager Glyn Jones and his team will ensure your visit is a pleasant one, and with a family orientated feel the Glyn y Weddw Arms is the ideal location to enjoy a lunchtime treat. At the height of the season, the pub employs a team of 35 and currently has 10 full-time staff, who ensure customer satisfaction is a top priority.
Conscious of catering for every taste, the Glyn y Weddw Arms offers smaller portions for the older generation or for those with smaller appetites.
The Glyn y Weddw Arms boasts seating inside for 150 people, 70 of whom can be seated in the new function room, which can be used for a variety of purposes including Christmas parties and business meetings.
Outside, the pub can seat approximately 130 people, 80 of which can sit under a unique retractable heated canopy and listen to background music, whilst overlooking the enclosed adventure playground, where children can play safely.
The Glyn y Weddw Arms is famous for its carvery, which is available on Thursday and Sunday. Food is available every day except Christmas day. On Saturday nights the pub offers a special home made hot buffet, which can range from Eastern, Chinese, Indian and Mexican, Great British Pie nights, see our Events page where you can look at what's on offer on these evenings and even print out your own menu.

At Christmas a special party menu is available, but you will need to book early to avoid disappointment. We also have a special New Years Eve Party Menu - these can be found using the navigation on the left - you can also print out your own menus from these pages.

Food Served all day 12-9 pm (High Season)
